CHATHAM CABERNET SAUVIGNON

The mature berry flavors and spiciness which originates from our prime Paso Robles vineyards have resulted in a fruit forward and eminently drinkable Cabernet Sauvignon. After aging in 60-gallon American oak barrels for 8 months, this wine has a deliberate cabernet structure with proper amounts of tannins and viscosity. This Cabernet Sauvignon is showing beautifully now and will age nicely over the next 3-5 years.

The bright berry flavors and spiciness which originates from our prime Santa Maria vineyard have resulted in a fruit-forward and eminently drinkable Merlot. After aging the wine in 60-gallon French oak barrels for 12 months, this wine has a deliberate merlot structure with proper amounts of tannins and viscosity. This 2018 Merlot is showing beautifully now and will age nicely over the next 3-5 years.

Chatham Chardonnay

Homestead fruit from 30+ year-old vines in the cool microclimate of the Monterey region has yielded a quintessential Monterey Chardonnay – as we have produced since 1978. The wine shows rich, tropical fruit aromas and ripe varietal flavors that are balanced by the crisp acidity prized by wineries throughout the state. The wine is aged 2 months in French Oak barrels.

Pinot Grigio

Hot summers along the Sacramento River inspired this 2018 Pinot Grigio from our vineyard located in Clarksburg. Clarksburg sits beside the Sacramento River Delta, and our Pinot Grigio is a perfectly refreshing wine to complement this region, which frequently reaches 100-degree weather all summer long. Our Pinot Grigio shows pear and apple flavors, and an alluring citrus finish. This wine was aged eight months in sixty-gallon stainless steel tanks. This Pinot Grigio shows beautifully now and will continue to develop over the next 3-5 years.

Rosé

Our Zinfandel Rose is from the central valley, ideal for growing zinfandel. It has a crisp, bright flavor and fresh fruit aroma specifically cherry, strawberry, and watermelon. Following a direct press off the skins, the winery team shortens the aging process to ensure a light pink color. It’s a dry rose with low sugar levels. No aging.

Our Pinot Noir was planted in 1982 in a 40-acre vineyard located on the west side of the Santa Maria Valley. The prevalent fog and ocean breeze are ideal for opulent wine. It has ripe berry fruit, bright cherry, and plum flavors. Aged six months in French Oak.
